Maintenance method of axial fan moving blade

Maintenance method of axial fan moving blade

When we use axial fans, we need to conduct regular inspections and repairs. Different parts have different inspection methods. How do we inspect the moving blades of axial fans?

(1) Separately remove the support cover, hydraulic cylinder, hub cover, support journal and conditioning disk.

(2) Check the wear between the slider and the guide ring, the gap is between 0.1~0.4mm.

(3) Check whether the fixing of the guide pin is firm and the degree of appearance.

(4) Remove the connecting screws of the blade and the petiole, and remove the blade. Check the appearance and color of the blade. If the blade has defects such as nicks, cracks, severe wear and damage, replace it. The screws that fasten the blades are for one-time use only.

(5) Loosen the lock washer and remove the lock cap. Separately remove the washers, conditioning arms, keys, bushings, fastening rings and bearings. Check that the bearing should not be peeled, mottled, or discolored.

(6) Pull the petiole out of the hub and inspect the petiole for flaw detection. The appearance should be no damage and not bend.

(7) Check the bushing in the petiole hole. It should be intact, free of scaling and lint, and should be replaced if it does not meet the requirements. When removing and installing the bushing, an autocratic copper rod should be used instead of tools such as hammers.

(8) Check whether the seal ring in the petiole hole is aging and fall off. If so, replace all the new seals when reinstalling.

(9) After the blade is assembled, the clearance of 1mm should be maintained (adjusted by the lock cap), and the blades should be the same

(10) The appearance of the blade should be lubricated, free from defects, and the weight of each piece should be the same. The deviation of the straightness of the petiole end face and the misalignment is not more than 0.02mm. The keyway and thread must be intact.

(11) After the slider is cleaned, it should be soaked in molybdenum disulfide oil at 100°C for about 2 hours, and then installed and used after it dries.

(12) The tightening screws at each point must use the required torque and use a torque wrench.
